Whittier Oral Surgeon - Todd Sumner DDS, MD
Dr. Sumner has been active duty Navy and practicing dentistry since 1992 and is married with two daughters. In his spare time, his spare time he enjoys running, reading, spending time with his family, and rooting for the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. Dr. Sumner’s favorite books are “Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailor” and “Chesapeake,” his favorite film is “Field of Dreams,” and his favorite TV shows are “House,” “E.R.” and “Mash.”

Active Duty Navy since 1992; served as a Dental officer onboard a Destroyer Tender; served twice with the Marines in Iraq as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Executive Officer of a Surgical Company treating wounded servicemen near the front lines; Medical/Dental mission trips to South American and Mexico
